FAQ

Do you do consultations for colour at suade?

Do you do consultations for colour?

SUADE Salon colour consultations are done on the day of the appointment right before the colourist does your hair. This allows for the colourist and yourself to dive right into the history of your hair and come up with the best technique that would get you your desired result.

What is the difference between balayage and traditional highlights?

What is the difference between balayage and traditional highlights?

Traditional highlights start closer to the root and the same weaving pattern is used throughout the head. Balayage is a combination of techniques completely customized for a specific look you’re looking to achieve. Balayage is perfect for someone that wants a super blended and low maintenance hair colour.

How long does a balayage take at suade?

How long does a balayage take?

Takes about 4-6 hours, depending on your hair.

How do you maintain a balayage?

How do you maintain a balayage?

Your colourist will provide instructions tailored to your balayage after your appointment. We also recommend coming in every 2-3 months if needed for a toner service. This allows for a less invasive way for a colour refresh until it’s time for a new balayage appointment.

What is the difference between a balayage and a toneR?

What is the difference between a balayage and a toneR?

A balayage appointment will include an entire service to give you a complete new look depending on your end goal. Your stylist is able to brighten your hair, bring the blend up higher, and much more!  A toner service is more to counteract any tones that are washed out, not blended, deepen your hair colour if the canvas allows for it, and combat brass temporarily. It is a great way to keep your colour fresh in between balayage appointments.
